Ron Roy
14U Head Coach

Ron has been coaching youth basketball for 10 years (9 years with AAU) and has coached within the New Hampshire Flames organization for 7 of those. He has coached in over 600 games and along with AAU teams has been involved in other leagues, such as the Massachusetts River Valley League, the Manchester Suburban League and the Tri-County Middle School League. Ron has also been committed to teaching the youth by running non-profit summer and fall basketball clinics since 2001.

Some of his team goals have been to provide a positive environment for learning and building self confidence. He also teaches working within a team concept, encourages taking on leadership responsibilities and establishes a strong work ethic in practice. He encourages his players to have fun and enjoy the game while enhancing basketball skills, fundamentals and game knowledge.

On the competitive side his teams have shared success including:

• 2008 NH State AAU Championship
• Medaling the last 3 years in the NH State AAU Tournament
• 2007 Massachusetts River Valley League Championship
• 4 Nashua Parks and Recreaction basketball titles from 2002 to 2006
• Many successful AAU weekends

Many of his current and former players are achieving success at the high school level in the Southern New Hampshire area.
